Show Notes

You probably know Kevin Roose as an award-winning technology columnist for The New York Times the host of the “Rabbit Hole” podcast, but did you know he’s the bestselling author of two books, and now a third called Futureproof: 9 Rules for Humans in the Age of Automation, which inspired to have us on - not just the title, but the topic: namely, how people can futureproof themselves in the age of automation (or at least try).

Today we discuss what jobs are most likely to be automated away, how individuals can protect their own futures, if we’re numb to the concept of AI and automation thanks to sci-fi movies, and why being pragmatic yet hopeful is a good outlook when it comes to being a futurist. I think you’ll enjoy this one, so let’s jump right in!
